FAQ

Joining the WBS Knights means more than just playing hockey — it’s about preparing for the next level. Below are answers to the most common questions from players and families about life, training, and advancement with the Knights.

The WBS Knights recruit players ages 16 to 20 who are motivated to develop their skills and pursue opportunities at the NCAA or professional levels.

We field teams in the USPHL’s NCDC, Premier, and Elite Divisions — providing multiple pathways for players at different stages of their junior careers to progress and be seen by scouts.

Players live in a team-supervised dormitory located near Revolution Ice Centre.
The dorm setup is designed to mirror a college environment, offering structured housing, team meals, transportation support, and daily oversight.

Players train daily with a combination of:
  • On-ice practices and skills sessions
  • Off-ice strength and conditioning workouts
  • Video review and team meetings

Our training model is built to prepare players physically, mentally, and emotionally for NCAA and professional hockey.
Players travel primarily throughout the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions, participating in:
  • Regular season USPHL games
  • Major scouting showcases
  • Select national exposure events

Travel is strategically planned to maximize scout exposure and minimize academic and training disruption.

Tuition and housing costs vary depending on the team and player needs.
